Budapest to Rome

       (Piazza Venezia–central hub of Rome)

Today we woke up in Budapest, said goodbye to Elisha, Carol and Jan and flew to Rome. It astonishes me to walk the land where the likes of Peter, Paul, Nero, Augustus, Julius Caesar, Cicero Michaelangelo and…walked.

We had an incredible lunch and explored more than we anticipated:  (St. Peter’s square)

(Old Bridge gelato)

And we made our way to the Trevi Fountain…with some stops along the way..

   (Espresso and cold coffee)

But when we finally arrived, the fountain was under construction

Oh well…were having a blast and that won’t sour our experience here!
